The back spring and lock are all one piece so that when the blade is in the locked open position the tighter you grip it the tighter you lock it in. To unlock it you lift up on the guard and this can easily be done with one hand by slipping your index finger under the guar and then rolling you finger forward lifting the lock and letting your knuckle push the blade over. The blades are 3 1/2" long of S30V or damascus stainless steels. The knife is very slim, just a little over 1/4" thick. The handle are 6al4v titanium.

Guard and finger groove model sold

Titanium handle, 3 1/2" S30V blade, engine turning on the handles and blade, with file work on the back spring.  The knife is fitted double thumb opener pocket clip, torx screws and file work on the back spring. $450.00.

The knife has a right and left opening thumb stud, decorative mill work down the back of the handle that aids in gripping. The are four small groves cut into the handle side that give grip in the finger groove area and deep notches cut into the top of the guard for the thumb.

Special Tanto model with Mike Norris latter pattern damascus blade, and anodized handles, which have engine turned. File work down the back spring and no pocket clip. It has an adjustable pivot screw and is put together with torx screws.
