The Armored Express all in black, tungsten DLC coating,
the hardest and best coating available. The 3 1/2" blade is made of
5/32" thick s30v steel, satin finished and engine turned on the flat
parts. There are decorative holes and mill cuts, which help in gripping
the knife, especially good when the hand's are wet. The variation in
color is because of the oil on the surface of the blade and how the
light reflects through it. It is a nice even black finish all over. This
knife is very good for a collection or everyday carry. A self-defense
knife that can be used and look good at the same time.
