FULL PAGE COLOR AD IN EARLY AMERICAN BLADE MAGAZINE

The advertising salesman that talked me into this ad said it would put me in the business full time. He was right.

This picture was in my big catalog that first came out in about 1980. The top one I called a Resin Bowie and the bottom was an English Bowie. Flat ground with hand rubber satin finishes. Ebony and Stag, both have nickel silver fittings and file work. Both sold for about $250.00 and took a week to make.
SUB-HILTED FIGHTERS: We made a lot of these large fighting knives all through the late 70's and 80's. I might have a few in the early 90's, but not many. This was named the "Battle Bowie" and was made to be similar to the Loveless "Big Bear". Made from 1/4 steel the blades are 8" long, the fittings are nickel silver, handles are stag. First sold for about $200.00.
Large flat ground bowie. Ivory micarta handle 10" blade and nickel silver.
My table at a show about 10 years ago.
Frame Lock folders ( all steel). The Frame Lock folders were made in 1979.
Hunting knives. We also made a lot of plain models.
SWORD SET. I think the blade on the sword is 36", and the short sword has a blade about 15" long and the dagger is about 7 or 8 inches.
Confederate Bowie. Made from a picture in an old book that the customer sent me. I think I made two. Some time in the late 1970's
