Four pound Rain Bow Trout caught on a minnow.

I caught this 6 pound Rainbow trout out of The Spring River. 3-19-2010. Man what a fight. When I got the bite, Wes was exploring, so I set the hook and the pole went nowhere but down. I yelled for Wes to get the net and I fought this fish for what seemed like an hour, but it was only a few minutes till Wes did a wonderful job of netting it for me. We had the cooler on the point we were fishing off of so I put him in there with my big trout I caught 30 minutes before this one. It weighed 4 pounds and was very pretty. We did not  want to lose this big fish so I put him in he cooler closed the lid and then cut the line. The trout was flopping so hard it about flipped the cooler over. He was so big he wouldn't hardly fit in the cooler. Both of my trout are going on the wall. Our canoe ride down the river was fun till we about bit the dust. We hit a log that about flipped us over till I leaned to one side which saved us. We gained a bunch of water and was going down. There was a bunch more fast white water rapids coming so we paddled to a shallow area and I jumped out and pulled us to the bank of the river. WOW! That water was cold. We got the water out and kept on moving to the fishing spot were I caught these two trout. After I caught the trout I was so excited I fell down in the water and got wet again.
